The Little Chief Learning Station recognizes that children are natural and active learners from birth and need a variety of hands-on learning experiences where they have many opportunities to interact with people, materials, objects and their environment. The concept of developmentally appropriate practices in Early Childhood Education outlined by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) will guide the learning and will be evident in the philosophy, curriculum, assessments and learning environments. Learning will support and be consistent with New Jersey's Core Curriculum preschool standards for language and literacy, social-emotional, & physical development, science, math, social-studies, creative arts & music.

All staff member are CPR and First Aid trained
