Camp Briar Hill has been a special place for little people since 1976. When we say little people, we mean kids from pre-school through 4th grade. We are not a specialty camp. We emphasize fun and skills instead of competition. Our daily swim, sports, and craft programs are filled with a variety of age appropriate activities, and we have different special events each Thursday and Friday.
If your camper is not happy here, we will refund your tuition for the balance of the summer. For example, if your camper is enrolled for eight weeks, and becomes unhappy with us at the end of the fourth week, the cost would be the advertised rate for four weeks, and we will cheerfully refund the balance. We can do this because we have confidence in our staff and program.
Ask about their refund policy if your camper is not happy.
Our camper to supervision ratio is about 3 to 1. Our group leaders are adults that stay with your camper all day rather than overseeing many groups.
All of our campers are based in permanent air conditioned buildings, no temporary buildings or shelters are used.
Ask about their policy for visitors. We have an open door policy for visitors. After you sign in and obtain a Visitor Pass, you are free to go any place on our campus and stay as long as you wish.
Ask about the craft projects that campers went home with last summer.
We encourage direct contact between you and the people that interact with your camper. Information is not sanitized by supervisors. We encourage you to talk with your camper's group leader and counselors.
Dont feel bad about the lack of an "early bird special". Our 8 week rates are about what other camps charge for 4 weeks. In addition, car pool rebates go up to $240 per camper. Come visit, we think you will be pleased. Please call if you have any questions.
