Horizon Eye Care, Horizon Optical and Horizon Laser & Eye Surgery Center are all part of one comprehensive ophthalmology practice with six convenient locations, including optical shops and an ambulatory surgery center in Southern New Jersey. Using state-of-the-art techniques and hi-tech equipment, our skilled, board-certified ophthalmologists and optometrists are committed to helping you attain the clearest vision possible.
In addition to general eye care, glasses, sunglasses and contact lenses, we provide several types of laser vision correction procedures such as LASIK, LASEK and PRK. We test and treat for glaucoma, corneal disease and retinal problems. Advanced cataract surgery with the latest in intraocular lenses is performed in our ambulatory surgery center as well as surgery for glaucoma and diabetes including SLT and ALT, Lucentis, Avastin, and treatments for conditions from dry eyes to macular degeneration. We also offer cosmetic procedures such as eyelid surgery, blepharoplasty, and BOTOX®.
Our skilled physicians, Howard J. Gross MD, Joel A. Spielberg MD. Robert F. Nunn MD, Matthew K. Perez, MD PhD, Mitchel A. Lautenberg MD, Sunir J. Garg MD, Dean N. Shissias OD, Andrea J. Mazur OD, Jill V. Vivadelli OD, and Diann D. Ryan OD have decades of combined experience in Atlantic, Cape May, and Ocean Counties. With locations in Margate, Ocean City, Egg Harbor Township, Galloway Township, Cape May Court House, and Manahawkin the practice is able to offer convenient hours Monday through Saturday. The offices are open from early morning to evening with handicap accessibility and electronic health records.
