Helping people resolve personal, family, and work problems
Providing psychological testing to help people understand their own problems and those of others
In New Jersey, those allowed by law to use the title "licensed psychologist" have earned their Ph.D. or Ed.D. from a graduate school approved by the New Jersey Board of Psychology. They also have two years of supervised experience, including a 1-year internship and a postdoctoral year of supervised experience. They also must pass written and oral examinations. Psychologists are trained in a broad range of problem-solving strategies, psychological tests, and in scientific research.
I was trained in the Counseling Psychology program at Rutgers State University. I took my internship at the Philadelphia Child Guidance Institute. I have been a practicing psychologist since 1987. I specialize in helping people resolve anger problems that interfere with their personal relationships, work life or health.
