Kitchens by Paul was originated by Paul and Myra Picone in 1961. Today, the business is operated by their son Steve. We are here to assist you with your complete kitchen renovation, countertop replacement, or product order and delivery. Steve personally oversees every project from the rip out to the finishing touches.
We are dedicated to providing you with quality installations. Over the years we have developed a team of highly experienced contractors whose professionalism and experience enables us to complete your project in a timely, proficient and courteous manner.

At Kitchens by Paul, a customized plan is developed for each project. We work with you to suit your individual needs. All of our cabinets are environmentally certified by the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association (KCMA). They are also fully compliant to the standards of the Calfornia Air Resources Board (CARB).
Steve personally oversees each project, acting as the General Contractor and coordinating the team of licensed professionals. The homeowner pays the contractors directly, which ultimately saves time and money.

We personally design and coordinate each project from start to finish. Customers can visit our showroom with measurements, or we can make an appointment to measure your home. We develop a floor plan based on your needs and schedule a consultation to go over the plan and pricing. After decisions have been made, we provide cabinet samples and artist renderings, and provide detailed plans for installation. After the cabinet delivery date is obtained, we develop the multi-step installation schedule. We coordinate all permits and schedule town inspections. Soon after, installation begins!

The old kitchen flows flawlessly and seamlessly into the expanded space. We love to entertain, and our guests can now sit around our new oversized island as we cook. The installation of our Brookhaven all wood cherry cabinets was handled by Chris. His craftsmanship is impeccable. Steve came by our house often to personally check on the progress of the job. He made sure our home stayed clean at all times. Steve and his staff truly care about their clients, and we look forward to working with them again!

Kitchens by Paul is the best! When I bought my 1940s house, I knew immediately that the first thing I had to do was to remodel the kitchen and knock out a few walls. After numerous consultations, it was obvious that Steve at Kitchens by Paul was the man for the job. In fact, I was so confident in Steve, and trusting of his abilities, that the entire remodel of my kitchen took place while I was out of the country. And I dont regret one thing! The design fits with the age of the house, Steves suggestions for the layout of the cabinets, and his advice for vendors (tile, granite, appliances) were all spot on. If my kitchen werent absolutely perfect, I would work with Steve and Kitchens by Paul all over again.
