According to Bharat Kalra who is owner of meditation Center Chicago, guided meditations are a walk in the park for those practicing and Doing meditations because you don't have to think about how to relax yourself and literally are guider by a teacher who guides you in to relaxation and guided meditation. But more crucially guided meditation put in place grounding yourself during meditation and the ability to go deeper in to a trance state using language to enhance relaxation. The deeper you relax you let go get out of your own way and by relaxing you are releasing endorphins that make you feel good and strengthen the immune system whilst as you know stress decreases the immune system and puts you in to states of flight or fight which increase anxiety.
