Welcome! Thank you for your interest in Longmeadow Farm. If you found us by chance feel free to look around and find out more about us. We have been open at Longmeadow since 1993. We originally started selling pumpkins for Halloween. Soon after Bradley Burke, Longmeadow's owner, felt that something new was in order, and with that decision our apple orchard was planted.
Longmeadow's orchard started with 6 different varieties of apples and slowly over our first six years of operation we grew to a current 13 varieties! With all of our varieties, apple picking season starts the first weekend in September and runs through the last weekend in October or sometimes beyond, depending on the weather. During that time we are open Saturdays and Sundays 9 to 5. Having so many varieties insures that there are new options almost every weekend.
Although the apples are our main crop we also have many other things during our open season. There are U-Pick raspberries and cut flowers starting in August, Pick Your Own Pumpkins for the Halloween season, fun for the kids as well as products that can be savored for months after your visit!
