Robert Treat Delicatessen opened in 1932 on Elm Street by the Sturke Brothers and families. It was a "true" delicatessen in the sense that all the food was homemade and prepared daily with the best and freshest ingredients.
In 1978, Jack and Greg Kasich and their families assumed ownership and a new era began.The sturke Brothers stayed on to teach the Kasich family their recipes and specialties. Jack and Greg incorporated all Sturke Brothers "old world success" and combined it with their ideas for catering and their own family recipes, still using only the best and freshest ingredients.
Robert treat has been a family tradition since 1932. We look forward to continuing this tradition with you and your family in the years to come. Thank you.
Robert Treat Deli is located in beautiful downtown Westfield on Quimby Street. From the New Jersey Parkway take Exit 135 to Central Avenue towards Westfield/Clark. Follow for three miles straight into the downtown area. Quimby Street first left after post office.
