Dr. Theresa Segat is a Bergen County, N.J. dentist located on Spring Valley Road in Oradell. With over 25 years of experience as a trusted professional offering comprehensive, gentle family-friendly dental care, she has a long-standing reputation for quality in all she does.
Our services range from simple yet esthetic white fillings, to complex long-term full mouth reconstruction involving dental implants, fixed bridgework, removable bridgework and partial dentures, and advanced cosmetic dentistry. The foundation of our practice is helping our patients achieve the healthiest teeth and gums possible. We emphasize prevention of decay and gum disease, and truly conservative preservation of existing teeth and tooth structure.
Dr. Segat's additional years of experience, hospital education in two of New York's most prestigious dental programs, and higher-level training in the field of prosthodontics, a specialty dedicated to the restoration of the oro-facial complex, provides her with a unique perspective in achieving the long-term success and durability of the work we do. In addition, her undergraduate background in Fine Arts combined with continuous advanced training in Cosmetic Dentistry and the latest in Dental Materials, allows us to offer our patients the eye of an artist in matching their teeth with the smile they hope to achieve, for spectacular results in often as little as one to two visits. She has been ranked as one of America's Top Dentists by the Consumers Research Council for five consecutive years and was awarded Fellowship in the International Academy for Dental-Facial Esthetics.
Dr. Segat has lectured on dentistry both nationally and internationally, and has been recognized by the American Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association, the Federation Dentaire Internationale, and the American College of Prosthodontists. She is a member and Past President of the NJ College of Prosthodontists, and has served for many years as a Trustee of the Bergen County Dental Society. In addition to her private practice in Oradell, she is on the dental teaching staff of Hackensack University Medical Center for Dentistry, and volunteers with the Bergen County Oral Cancer Coalition, and with Donated Dental Services through the New Jersey Dental Association.
