Lutheran Social Ministries of New Jersey provides hospitality, healing and hope to those in New Jersey who hurt, who are in need or who have limited choices, regardless of religious affiliation or background. Through a diversified social ministry program addressing many critical human care needs, LSM/NJ is caring for the people of New Jersey and providing for them a place to call home.
God is able to make all grace abound you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.

We are a not-for-profit, mission-driven organization whose scope of services is broad. Each year, LSM/NJ reaches out and assists more than 3,500 people in need across the state. We continue to develop new programs and build new facilities to care for those individuals and families that require our help.
As an agency, we believe we have a responsibility to establish and maintain a relationship with the people we serve, the congregations and organizations we partner with, the communities in which we have a presence, our volunteers, our staff and those representing our government and other organizations.

Through the power of the Holy Spirit, and in response to God’s love as revealed in the Gospel, the mission of Lutheran Social Ministries of New Jersey is to serve those in New Jersey who hurt, who are in need, or who have limited choices.
