The friendly congregation of the Beemerville Presbyterian Church bids greetings and welcome to all. We are a family oriented church with a traditional service each week. Folks from all faiths are welcome to our hour worship plus a coffee hour to follow. Our congregation is small (120) but growing steadily. We have added 32 members in the past 3 and a half years.
Brief History: The congregation will celebrate its 175th anniversary in July of 2009. The members themselves (for a total cost of $3,000) built the sanctuary in 1834. This year we will hold our 101st anniversary of the Harvest Home Dinner in July across the street from our church at the Beemerville Fire Department. We will feed over 500 people a good old fashioned home cooked meal of ham, potatoes, fresh corn on the cob, vegetables and carrot cake for dessert. It was a home run with Babe Ruth who used to attend the dinner!
