"The splendor and peacefulness of this building and setting are exceeded only by the graciousness and warmth of your hospitality. Thank you." ...Liz & Bill
Welcome to our elegantly restored Inn, where the seamless blend of vintage craftsmanship and 21st century technology come together to offer you a restorative and peaceful stay along the banks of the South Branch of the Raritan River.
The Raritan Inn combines the rich history of its 1700s roots with today's most innovative renewable energy technologies. The Inn relies on the natural power of solar energy and geothermal heating, making the buildings super-efficient and the Innkeeper's residence a residential power plant that has set the standard for environmentally conscious restoration.
The Inn is situated on twenty-four pristine acres of farm fields and prime trout fishing in the charming village of Califon, NJ.
The South Branch of the Raritan River, offering some of the best stream fishing in the state with an abundance of trout and good hatches, runs through the property for nearly a mile.
The Columbia Trail, adjacent to the Inn, offers miles of scenic beauty and is highly regarded for its hiking, biking, horseback riding and cross-country skiing opportunities.
We look forward to your stay at the Inn.
