The Highland Community Church is a non-denominational church that is seeking to study God’s Word, and to worship and serve our Lord Jesus Christ. Like heaven, we are multi-cultural and multi-racial. The praise and worship includes both contemporary and traditional music, and the teaching is right from the Bible. We would love to have you come and see what Highland Community Church has to offer you and your family.

In Matthew 11:28-30 Jesus said, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” (NIV)

1. God offers eternal life to everyone. "I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so you may know that you have eternal life."

2. Everyone deserves eternal death. "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23; "For the wages (payment) of sin is death...(Eternal separation from God) Romans 6:23
3. Jesus paid the penalty for our sin on the cross, and rose again from the dead. Thereby purchasing eternal life for us. "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this; While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."

4. Eternal life is offered as a gift and can not be earned.
" For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this is not from yourself, it is the GIFT of God - not by works, so that no one can boast. " Ephesians 2:8-9
"... but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 6:23
5. Every person must, individually repent of their sin and receive God's gift of
forgiveness of sin and eternal life for themselves.
" Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God's wrath remains on him. " John 3:36
" I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life. " John 5:24
Suggested Prayer: Dear God I need you. I know I have sinned, but I thank you that Jesus died and paid the penalty for my sin on the cross, and rose again from the dead. Thank you for doing that for me. Come into my life Lord Jesus, forgive me of my sin and help me to live for you. Thank you for coming into my life. I pray in Jesus name, Amen.
