lmer Schultz, an electrician by trade, founded the company. During the Second World War, he served in the Army Air Corps. After the Second World War, Elmer worked nights at the Budd Company in Philadelphia as an electrician and during the day he started his one-man electrical business. The business grew slowly and as it did, he added employees into the 1950's.

Today the company operates in three locations: Philadelphia, PA, Wilmington, DE, and Pleasantville, NJ. and is the largest supplier of parts and service for commercial cooking equipment in the tri-state area. The company currently has thirty-four employees, fifteen of which are CFESA certified Field Service Technicians and a parts department of five people that handles part orders from their customers.

In business since 1946
In the late 50's and early 60's the company also began to service commercial cooking equipment. This new departure soon caught up to and surpassed the electrical end and became the core of the business. In essence, Elmer had found a 'nitch' business.
