Laurie and Mark are retiring from innkeeping and are closing York Street House as of November 15th. Thanks to all of our wonderful guests who have made the past 10 years unforgettable. We'll still be checking our email if you'd like to stay in touch. Laurie's cookbook should be available after the 1st of the year!
Located on a quiet residential street in picturesque Lambertville, NJ, guests love our close proximity to the variety of quaint shops including art galleries, antique stores and restaurants. Across the Delaware River is New Hope, PA, with its unique blend of boutiques and fine dining, all within an easy walk.
Lambertville is also known for its wide variety of architectural styles. York Street House has been recognized as one of the most significant buildings and was awarded the 2008 Lambertville Historical Society’s Narducci Award for historic preservation.
Each of our six guestrooms includes private baths, luxurious bedding and amenities, cable TV, electric fireplaces and air conditioning. Several rooms offer whirlpool baths. Complimentary wireless internet is available throughout the inn.
After a visit to Lambertville, New Hope or Bucks County, return to the peace and serenity of York Street House. Curl up with a book on the over-stuffed chaise in the parlor, sip a cup of hot tea and enjoy a home baked chocolate chip cookie. When the weather permits, rock on our covered veranda, enjoy the roses in our gardens or a concert held in Mary Sheridan Park across the street.
In the dining room, a large selection of teas, coffee, hot chocolate, sodas, bottled water and home baked chocolate chip cookies are always available. Our full, candlelit breakfast, prepared in our kosher kitchen, starts with fresh juice and a fruit course followed by a luscious main course. The menu changes daily based on the availability of local fresh ingredients.
