MESSAGE FROM THE DOCTOR:Welcome to my website for my HOUSECALL veterinary practice. I have been in practice since 1964 and doing housecalls in Bergen and Passaic counties since March 1975. I like having the opportunity to sit down with the owners in their homes. We can then discuss any questions the family may have about their pet's care, and I can explain and recommend what I think is worthwhile and important for the health and well being of their pets.
I also do surgical procedures: X-rays, dentistry, ultrasound, and various other treatments in another doctor's hospital (with my own technician and supplies). I use this hospital for clinical care and observation in addition to surgery.
However, most of my practice is done in my clients' homes visiting with their dogs and cats. For me, I find the closeness and intimacy with the owners and their four-legged family members allows me a clearer picture of the attitude, behavior and general health of the patient. I do all of the procedures at home that clients are used to seeing in the hospital examination room.
In addition, on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, I answer my own phone between 8:30am-10:00am. During these calling hours, I set up my appointments, speak to new clients and answer any questions that my clients have regarding their animal's care.
I strongly recommend regular check-ups for your animal to ensure better health and a longer life.
