Scafuro & Gianni, P.A. is a 30 year plus General Practice Law Firm located in Northern Bergen County, New Jersey. The founding Partner was Albert O. Scafuro, Esq. who is currently "of counsel" to the firm. The present managing Partner is Anthony J. Gianni, Jr., Esq. Mr. Gianni, who has been in private practice in Allendale, New Jersey since 1968, is a graduate of Villanova University and Seton Hall Law School. He is admitted to practice law in the State and Federal Courts of New Jersey and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Mr. Gianni's practice is mostly devoted to the areas of wills, estate planning, estate probate, tort actions, real estate, commercial, corporate law, family law, and zoning matters. He does not practice Criminal Law.

By way of additional background, Mr. Gianni is a life long resident of Bergen County, New Jersey and he has resided in Mahwah, N.J. since 1970.
He graduated Don Bosco Preparatory High School, Ramsey, N.J. in 1959 where he was a member of the Tri-County Championship Track & Field Team for that year; and a member of the National Honor Society.
He received the degree of Bachelor of Science in Social Studies from Villanova University in 1963 where he was a member of Villanova's Track & Field Team.
In 1966, he received a Juris Doctor Degree from Seton Hall Law School where he was a member of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity.
From 1966 to 1972, he was a member of the Military Police Company of the New Jersey National Guard where he was Company Lecturer on Military Law and Justice and Communications Section Chief. His company was activated for duty by then Gov. Richard Hughes during the July,1967 Newark and Plainfield Riots.
In 1983, the Peter W. Rodino, Jr. Law Society of Seton Hall Law School honored him as an "Outstanding Italian-American".
In 1984, he delivered the 69th Don Bosco Preparatory High School Commencement Exercise Address.
In 1990, he was the Chairman of the Supreme Court of New Jersey District Ethics Committee for Bergen County, N.J.
In 1996, he received the Distinguished Service Award from Franco Mistretta, the Counsel General of Italy on behalf of the Italian Government.
He has lectured to students at Seton Hall Law School and served as a Trial Judge in the Seton Hall Law School Trial Moot Court Program for 2 years. He is a member of the New Jersey Bar Association; and the Bergen County Bar Association.
