Our Forensic investigations encompass a myriad of tasks which can include, but are not limited to, focus of the manufacturer’s specifications of the equipment utilized, the installation techniques and methodology employed, complete review and interpretation of Central Station database information, internal event log data, Alarm Science, Nationally Recognized Industry Standards and Practices, UL , NFPA, IFC, BOCA and UFC Standards, foreseeability, security analysis, Security Science, overall threat assessment, review of policies and procedures, customs and habits, and potential indicators of fraud and or fraudulent conduct.

Mr. Zwirn has over thirty-five years of expertise and experience in security system, access control, and fire alarm and life safety system design, development, installation, sales, service, maintenance, testing, operational management and UL Listed central station monitoring of almost all types and brands of burglar and fire alarm systems and equipment. In addition, Mr. Zwirn provides physical security evaluations, recommendations and design countermeasures.
Mr. Zwirn is an appointed NFPA 72 Technical Committee Panel Member in the Special Expert Category National Fire Protection Association(July 0f 2002 through November 2009), UL Technical Committee Panel Member serving on eighteen committees, Expert Consultant to FM Global, and Featured Alarm Science Columnist for Security Products & Technology News and Security Science contributing technical writer for Security Sales and Integration Magazine. Mr. Zwirn also has Sixty Seven (67) Accepted Submissions To NFPA 730, Report Of The Committee On Premises Security.
Mr. Zwirn is an experienced consultant and expert testimonial witness in alarm science and systems, premises liability, as well as alarm and security related matters for insurance companies, law firms, government and law enforcement agencies, public and private institutions, and nationally recognized alarm and central station companies.
As an instructor to the technical community of the alarm and security industry, Mr. Zwirn has authored security and alarm system test questions which have been accepted by The American Society for Industrial Security for their coveted and internationally recognized Certified Protection Professional Certification Examination.
In addition, Mr. Zwirn has developed training curriculum and a written alarm and security test examination for the New York City Police Department and the Joint Terrorist Task Force, and has been designated as an Expert Instructor by the New York City Police Department Crime Prevention Section in its Basic Methods of Security Course.
