Welcome to Montclair Counseling Center, one of the largest multidisciplinary mental health facilities in New Jersey. A nonprofit organization, we offer the community a broad spectrum of mental health services, educational workshops and consultation throughout the greater Essex County, NJ area. Our staff of expert licensed clinicianssocial workers, counselors, marriage and family therapists, and psychologists encompass a wide range of treatment specialties.

All of us have, at one time or another, been confronted by life experiences and situations that have felt intrusive and overwhelminganxiety, stress, grief. At other times, we aspire to increase our awareness, self-understanding and personal growth. To heal and better our relationships. When the challenges and rigors of life become too difficult to face alone, then time with one of our psychotherapists can provide the help and support you need.

Montclair Counseling Center, a non-profit 501(C)(3) corporation, was founded in 1972 and is a private interdisciplinary mental health facility chartered by the State of New Jersey. It is governed by a Board of Directors which appoints a slate of officers and an Executive Director. The Director is responsible for day to day operations that include management and supervision of professional staff and office administration, initiation of outreach programs and assistance with fundraising efforts guided by the Board of Directors.
