The Iron Craftsman, near Bloomsbury, began operations as Superior Welding and Fabrication twenty five years ago in the WWII era Quonset structure which still serves as its home. Founder and operator Eric Teets touts a portfolio of almost 40 years of work that includes a wide range of projects, ranging from vintage restorations to custom commercial and industrial design and fabrication installations.
Each project is undertaken with great attention to detail, with a careful matching of the appropriate metals and techniques to render a project that perfectly fits the requirements. Every project, regardless of size or complexity, must meet the highest standards in form and function. In addition to custom work, The Iron Craftsman designs and mass produces orders to specification.
In addition to iron forged using time honored techniques, The Iron Craftsman works with carbon steel, aluminum, stainless steel, and copper. The technologies used range from the well established traditional to the latest cutting and welding technologies.
