Keep Your Insurance Up-to-date - It is your responsibility to keep your insurance up-to-date and to provide the necessary proof of coverage to the MCMUA. Please forward your updated insurance certificates to the MCMUA. Click below to read about insurance requirements for the transfer stations and insurance requirements for the compost facilities.

Commercial contractors are not permitted to enter facilities between noon and 1:00 p.m. Compost facilities are CLOSED on the following holidays: Thanksgiving (11/25/10), Christmas (12/24-25/10) and NYE (12/31/10, 1/1/11).
Dump/material tickets are available at each individual compost facility and all commercial entities (landscapers, contractors, etc.) must pay in full by check (no cash or credit cards accepted) at the the time of dumping or purchasing materials. The old Shade Tree ticket office on West Hanover Ave. no longer distributes any tickets. Note: all tickets expire at the end of the year in which they were purchased.
