Dr Fernandez is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Practice. She completed her residency training in 2003 at JFK Medical Center in Edison, NJ where she was Chief Resident 2002-2003. She received her Medical Doctorate from St.George's University in 1999 and her Bachelor of Arts from New York University in 1995. She was named one of "America's Top Family Doctor's" in 2007. Dr.Fernandez was previously in private practice in Dover and Clinton NJ. She formed Washington Family Medicine, PC in May of 2007.
