It is the mission of Able Imaging to provide state-of-the-art medical imaging services to our patients and referring physicians. We will employ our technical resources to become the first choice for medical imaging services throughout our service area.

The American Cancer Society's 2008 guidelines endorsed virtual colonoscopy as an appropriate screening modality for colorectal cancer (CRC). To date, 19 state legislatures and the District of Columbia have passed laws requiring private insurance carriers to reimburse for CRC procedures, with most of them specifically mandating virtual colonoscopy or any modality endorsed by the ACS. And similar legislation is being considered in other states.

The reimbursement landscape is constantly changing, with such major carriers as Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, and Blue Cross* already providing coverage for virtual colonoscopy screening procedures.
