About Dr. Auletta and the Therapists
Richard Auletta, Ph.D., is a NJ Licensed Psychologist (lic. #35SI002982) as well as a NJ and Nationally Certified School Psychologist. Dr. Auletta has over 20 years experience working in public schools as a Child Study Team member, in special education schools and agencies, as well as private practice providing individual, group, couples, and family therapy. Dr. Auletta holds a B.A. from Dartmouth College, an M.A. from Montclair State University, and a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Seton Hall University; he also completed a clinical internship in pediatric clinical neuropsychology at Children's Specialized Hospital. Dr. Auletta has expertise in treating a wide variety of important issues common to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families including: academic/educational, social, emotional, behavioral, adjustment, neurological and medically related concerns. Having served as adjunct professor, trustee to non-profit agencies serving individuals with disabilities, authored professional articles, and having been appointed to the NJ Family Support Council, Dr. Auletta maintains a strong and long standing commitment to serving children, adolescents, adults, couples and families.
Dr. Auletta has carefully selected a small group of experienced licensed professionals, both female and male, who maintain special expertise in treating children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. Their disciplines/training include:

Marriage and Family Therapists
We assume a collaborative approach in an effort to integrate and successfully implement treatment goals across all settings.We both respect and value the exchange of relevant information among involved professionals, especially school staff who interact with students and families on a regular basis. Therapists are available for phone consultations as well as attending meetings when appropriate. Consulting neurologists and psychiatrists are available for medication consultations if necessary. As Director and Supervising Psychologist Dr. Auletta personally monitors the progress of all cases.
